Before Tottenham Hotspur FC and Liverpool FC took the stage at the Estadio Metropolitano for the UEFA Champions League Final, there was one other big match to contest in Madrid. The Nissan Innovation Games Final.
Collaborating with Wild Things I designed a series of energetic motion graphic animations which signaled each “state of play” within the match. I worked alongside the PR Live team to encode and project the motion files onto the LED screens around the perimeter of the playing field. The game was filmed as part of a promotional package which at times required animation on the fly. Other displays included a live scoreboard, intro, sponsorship and celebration screens.
