TBWA chairman and global director Lee Clow’s famous quote (Why join the navy when you can be a prirate?) was the catalyst for injecting a new personality into the TBWA London office. What would a pirate do... steal and claim it for themselves. And so reclaiming popular culture became the new theme in everything we created.
